CDC and FDA Recommend 2nd Booster for Older and Immunocompromised Individuals
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and FDA have recommended a 2nd booster shot of mRNA vaccine for certain age groups in order to increase protection against severe symptoms from COVID -19.

In response to the increasing number of cases from the Omicron variant, the CDC has issued a new guidance on how to isolate or quarantine healthcare personnel (HCP) to reflect what is currently known about infection and exposure in the context of vaccination and booster doses.
