The California Department of Aging is launching a statewide Direct Care Workforce Training and Stipends Program (California GROWs) that will incentivize, support, and fund career pathways for the non-IHSS direct care Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) workforce. California GROWs seeks to provide the foundation for many positive outcomes in HCBS, including increased skills, satisfaction, retention, and career development opportunities for direct care worker. This webinar will include an overview of the workforce initiative and timeline for implementation, with ample time for questions and discussion.
